What Lisa Said

In the world of left-leaning political blogs one site is so consistently thorough, passionate and well-written that it has become a commonplace nearing that of cliché to simply post from time to time: “what Digby said.”

In the trans ’sphere, one of the few that I think merits a similarly permanent touch of the cap is Lisa Harney’s “Questioning Transphobia,” which cuts into the fraud and malice of anti-trans theory and rhetoric – and particularly that species of it which cloaks itself in a noxiously regressive pretense of feminism – both more rigorously and vigorously than I had ever hoped to see, or could attempt myself.

So, on those days when I am just too busy to post an entry myself – and they will be many – just hear me say “yeah… what Lisa said” from somewhere in the vicinity of your left shoulder. And go read what she has to say.
